Where's Life's Subtitle Option?
Well, here's an update:
Things are going okay. They are by no means as good as they were a few weeks ago before a man we shall call "asshole" screwed up our lives, but they are okay. At least for now. We've had some additional setbacks which I won't go into. These have made things a bit more stressful, but we're still working together to maintain our sanity.
I've been struggling a lot with my Spanish class. I can't seem to get a good handle on it. I took my first test, which stressed me out beyond belief, but fortunately I came out of it with an A. So, as it stands now I'm not failing. I'm fortunate that Eric is able to help me most of the time, but it is increasingly difficult to manage the time around his show. The show is all we have now, so its needs must come first.
I slept for the first time in a week last night. I got a good 4 hours uninterrupted which is a lot better than the 2 hours of tossing and turning, waking up trying to translate something into Spanish or waking up freaking out about a bill.
My other classes are going well, I love my history classes, especially The Holocaust. Usually I'm more passionate about American History, but this class is so awesome, I would walk for hours just to be on time if I ever had to.
Am I still angry? Yes, I'm no longer plotting deaths or wanting to jump out of a moving bus once I go by the place I know asshole will be. But, I am still angry. I just remind myself that vengeance will be had due to him reaping what he sows. I don't know when this will happen but I know it will happen soon.
I must say that without my friends I would have lost my mind. You all, have been so wonderful and understanding. I certainly don't know where I would be if it hadn't been for you. Every time I ever need an ear, advice, a laugh or a beer...you guys are always there for me. I love you for that and a lot more!
In addition to concentrating on school to ease my worries, I've focused a lot on my creative side and that has given me great comfort. I'll write something or make a music montage. Talking to Eric is always really helpful, although we've gotten a bit more annoyed with each other on occasion since he is here all the time!
But, when all is said and done he is always here for me and does what he can to make this easier. After the horrors in L.A, he realizes that keeping me stressed as little as possible keeps me healthy, seizure free and not strangling him to death with my bare hands! Ah....young love!
